Henna Huddle is an in-person conference.
We see a huge advantage for in-person teaching over online teaching.
You get more value for money – The teacher is there in front of you ready to take questions and then available for more questions afterward plus demonstrations.
This provides a more thorough teaching than what can be achieved online where time is rigidly set with minimal option to cover many questions or a chance to ask the teacher to explain something afterwards.
At Huddle you get to attend every class. No need to pick from a timetable and miss another class that is taking place at the same time.
Delegates are for the majority of the conference split into groups making the learning experience a huddle! It’s a better teaching ground for the teacher and a learning ground for the delegates. Less is more!
Teachers are on hand in the evenings to showcase their talents. Get hands-on experience by getting mehndi applied by one of the teachers. Or watch them applying mehndi onto someone else. This provides a unique learning experience where you can ask and get immediate advice.
It’s also extremely invigorating to be sat surrounded by other artists which is why we chose to hold Huddle in January so that it gives the working henna & jagua artist inspiration and a bigger toolbox going into a new year of work.
And most certainly no internet buffering!! Sorry, we cannot think of anything worse than being sat at a device and a class not run properly because of internet problems!!
Henna Huddle has been running yearly conferences and the conference in 2026 will be our 10th year.
Henna Huddle is organized by Mark Foster who runs henna and jagua supply company Henna Boy and Karuna Bilimoria, a Professional bridal henna and nail artist with over 10 years of experience.
The whole reason behind Huddle is to provide a training platform for artists so that we all can continue to watch the art forms of henna and jagua grow internationally.
Henna Huddle has many success stories where artists have developed into well-paid sought-after individuals being booked globally for their talent.
Henna Huddle is also a growth platform for professional artists that are new to teaching giving them opportunities to expand their business model.
